She is deep in the Undertow.
Ballrooms and suitors distract her from the honored guest. It seeks to escape, yet she refuses to unlock the door.
No matter. She goes to it.
Like many before her, it paralyzes her senses.
One life for immortality.

The characters are based on my Blackwater Project series that, unfortunately, I left incomplete. I think I’ve cornered myself with the plot, and that’s why it’s unfinished.
Hopefully, writing exercises like this will help me wrap it up!
