Isa’s eyes sparkled with wonder at the sight of leaves painted in reds, yellows, and oranges.
“It’s like Stars Hollow!” She exclaimed.
“What’s a Stars Hollow?” Leo whispered.
“Some girly show.” Jake dismissed.
The double doors of the campus ministry center thrusted open. A puffy jacket swallowed Isa’s top half. Fr. Bubba took in the sight before booming with laughter.
“You gon’ have to get along with winter.”
“N-never.” She declared.
In Miami, you waited for the rain to pass. But in Philly, the rain never stopped.
Isa splashed puddles in her first pair of rain boots.

These characters are based on an WIP about a new girl whose family moves to a brand new city. Her reaction to the seasons is loosely based off of my own personal experience. :)
